Itinerary at a Glance:
Day 1: Kasol to Grahan Village (Drive – 8km, Trek – 2km)
The expedition begins at Kasol, an eclectic hub that boasts a vibrant mix of global cultures. After a 8 km car ride to Graham Stop(not included in the cost), we trek for 2 km to reach Grahan Village, following a scenic trail along the Grahan stream with comfortable elevations. Overnight stay at a comfortable homestay in Grahan provides a serene end to the day’s journey.
Day 2: Grahan to Min Thatch (Trek – 10km)
Trek through dense forests that open up to the Min Thatch meadow, you will experience nature’s grandeur up close. The camping site here offers majestic views in a wind-sheltered spot.
Day 3: Min Thatch to Nagaru (Trek – 6km)
As we climb to higher elevations, the trail to Nagaru offers ridge walks and forest passes. Our campsite at Nagaru presents a panoramic view of the surrounding peaks.
Day 4: Nagaru to Sar Pass to Biskeri Thatch (Trek – 14km)
The ascent to Sar Pass is a thrilling high-altitude experience, leading to an enjoyable descent to Biskeri Thatch. The day’s highlight is undoubtedly the natural snow slides, providing an exhilarating end to the climb.
Day 5: Biskeri Thatch to Bursheni (Trek – 10km, Drive to kasol – 15km)
The final day’s trek involves descending through enchanting forests and crossing streams to reach Barshaini, where the trek concludes.
